About Kate's Nest

I am a Namibian born female who loves to travel. I love meeting people and getting to know about other countries, cultures & traditions.

In 2014 I fulfilled a promise to my daughter that before she turned 12, I would take her to see Disneyland, Paris. We went on a month-long Europe tour, this is where the idea of Kate’s Nest was born.

We were on a limited budget so we could not afford hotels, instead staying in small b&bs and guesthouses. We absolutely loved it, in some places staying in private rooms with families and others in 1-bedroom apartments.

I took the decision that when I returned back home, I would start a business offering accommodation where it felt like you were home. Together with my team, this is what we now strive to offer at Kate’s Nest Guesthouse and Tours.
