Kate’s Nest Guesthouse has been a cornerstone in the hospitality industry for seven years. In 2016, I embarked on the transformation of an old residential home, stablishing a modest 4-room guesthouse in the heart of Windhoek’s Academia.

Named in honor of my grandmother Katrina “Kate” Kakenya. Over the years, our commitment to excellence has propelled us to proudly offer 12 rooms, 16 dorm beds, in total accommodating up to 40 guests. Catering to diverse clientele, we provide three distinct room categories: dorm rooms, budget rooms, and standard rooms. Our amenities include a swimming pool, an onsite bar, and a convenient shuttle service for our valued clients.

Kate’s Guesthouse has become a preferred choice for both domestic and international travelers. While we serve a mix of business and leisure travelers, the majority of our guests come from around the globe. The evolving preference for guesthouses reflects the desire for a more homely atmosphere and personalized service.
